Media Carrier opens new office in London

(Munich, 12 October 2015) – Media Carrier is expanding. From its new office in the UK, the young member of the MELO Group can now serve major British and international publishing and travel industry clients directly from London. The new office is managed by Patrick King. The new opening is an important part of Media Carrier’s growth strategy. Further offices in important core markets are planned.

The new office strengthens the company’s presence in the British market. “Great Britain is the headquarters of many international publishers and major tourism companies. We see great potential here for ourselves as service providers to both of these industries. The new office in London brings us closer to our clients,” says Philipp J. Jacke, managing director of Media Carrier.

Patrick King, who will be responsible for the London office, has many years of experience in senior positions in the British press sector, e.g. as managing director at Jones Yarrell Leadenhall (JYL Ltd), a niche business-to-business media company. “Patrick has valuable specialist knowledge and management capabilities. He is the ideal person to develop our first branch office in this core market,” explains Jacke. King is looking forward to the new challenge: “The UK is an extremely dynamic market, and acceptance of the digital press is well advanced. The new office enables us to participate more actively in the market, developing new services with existing partners and opening up new opportunities.”
